Choose a program in the subject for which you have won first. Then, decide which college or colleges offer this track’s programs.
You can study in English or Russian after demonstrating your language proficiency. You can enroll in a Russian language preparation course to improve your skills.
The Russian Federation will cover your tuition costs. You only need to pay for your expenses, travel, lodging, and insurance.
Your registration form will specify the specialization you will be enrolled in. You may select any program applicable to international students within this specialty.
No. For the Master’s track, the competition is only open to individuals who have earned or are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the year of the Olympiad, and for the doctoral track (equivalent to a Ph.D. ), a Master’s or Specialist degree.
Only before stage 1 is over and only if the portfolio hasn’t been turned in can you do it. Separate motivational letters are needed for each new subject.

Please ensure that you provide a motivational letter and documentation of your education level to participate in the Open Doors Olympiad. If you fail to submit these, you will not be able to participate in the second round and miss out on the chance to win a prize or receive a scholarship from Open Doors. The motivational letter must be typed or copied from a document and pasted into the appropriate field on the form. The appropriate fields are for uploaded educational materials. After registering for the Olympiad on the website, participants must log in and upload their documents, complete the portfolio and motivational letter, and submit the portfolio. Your primary academic certificate, such as a Bachelor’s degree for the Master’s track or Master’s or specialists for the doctoral track, is required.
If you have not yet obtained your degree or do not have it available for any reason, you can upload your official transcript, statement of marks from the current or previous academic year, or a scan of your grade sheet to attest to your level of education.
