5- Do I need a medical check for my Chinese visa?

No medical examination is necessary for students with short-term visas lasting less than six months, such as a tourist or L visa.
Once in China, longer-term (academic) students must undergo a medical examination to convert their L visa into a Residence Permit. The Foreigner Physical Examination should be performed in China, and the university will assist you with this when you get there. This examination includes a physical examination, an ultrasound, an ECG, a blood test, and an x-ray. A small fee is charged for the medical examination.
Some nationals must undergo the Foreigner Physical Examination before they arrive in China because it is a requirement for visa applications. You should print the Foreigner Physical Examination form (which the INTO China Admissions team will provide upon request), bring it to your doctor or a public hospital, get a physical exam, and have a doctor fill out the form. The hospital must place your picture and its official seal on the first page of the form.
All hospital reports (X-ray scans, blood test results, etc.) must be brought with you, and you must also ensure that the hospital has stamped your foreign physical examination photo. If you do not bring the completed Foreigner Physical Examination form with stamps and accompanying reports, you will be required to have the examination redone in China.
