Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal-Students may apply for this scholarship program if they are in Class 11, Class 12, Graduation, or Post-Graduation. -This scholarship provides financial assistance to post-matriculated or post-secondary SC, ST, and OBC students. -The selected students can receive a scholarship worth between Rs. 160 and Rs. 1200 per month.
Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM)-This scholarship is offered to assist and support students studying the Hindi language in Non-Hindi speaking states like West Bengal. -Students in higher secondary, undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level courses (M.Phil., Ph.D., or M.Lit. etc.) can apply for this scholarship. -The chosen students can avail of the scholarship amount ranging from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000 per month.
Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal-The recipients of this scholarship must be female students. -Only West Bengal students who have passed the class 12th exam from any board are eligible for the scholarship. -You can apply for this scholarship program if you are a female student seeking an undergraduate degree in basic science, engineering, or medicine at any West Bengali institution. -Each month, the selected students will receive Rs. 3000. In addition to the scholarship money, the student will receive a Rs. 2000 book grant each year.

Eligibility Criteria of Scholarship Application

Different Aikyashree scholarship types have different eligibility requirements. Students must apply for the scholarships by their level of education.

West Bengal Pre-matric Scholarship (SC/ST Students)

  • The student must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • He or she must be a student of Class 9 or 10.

West Bengal Post-matric Scholarship

  • This student ought to be a woman.
  • Candidates must have received a passing grade in Class 12 from any board.
  • The student must want to attend a reputable institution in West Bengal to pursue a degree in engineering, medicine, or basic science.

Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM)

  • The student must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • The student must be studying in  Class 11 or 12.

  • If the student is not enrolled in general Undergraduate or Postgraduate level degree courses, they must be pursuing graduation in Engineering, Medical, and Technical/Professional courses.
  • The student must have received at least 75% of the possible points in class 10 if they pursue a diploma or higher secondary education.
  • The student must have received at least 75% of the possible points in class 12 if enrolled in undergraduate coursework.
  • The student’s family’s annual income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
  • Deserving students will be awarded scholarships based on merit and other factors.
  • Candidates for the M.Phil. Students from state-supported institutions may also apply for courses and doctoral programs to receive this scholarship.

Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal

  • The student needs to live in West Bengal.
  • He or she must be a citizen of a country that does not speak Hindi.
  • The student must have completed one of the degree programs listed below: Madhyamik, higher secondary, graduation, PG, or any comparable degree program.
  • The student must have received at least 60 percent of the possible points in the preliminary examination, which included Hindi as one of the subjects.

Aikyashree Scholarship Rewards

Selection Procedure for Aikyashree Scholarship

The Aikyashree scholarship is available to two types of students:

  1. New candidates
  2. Candidates applying for a renewal scholarship
  3. For New scholarships, the corporation will only consider a student eligible based on merit and subject to the budgetary allocation provided by the State Government.
  4. For Renewal Scholarship, the corporation will only consider students who have obtained 50% marks in their previous examination.

Step 1 – Student Registration

1. Visit the official website of the WBMDFC portal or directly click on the Aikyashree Scholarship portal at http://wbmdfcscholarship.org.

2. Click on the New Registration

3. Select the District of your Institute

4. Enter the details like Name, District, Guardians Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Bank Account Number in the registration form

Step 2– Eligibility

1. Fill out the information requested in the scheme eligibility column on the website, including the current institution’s name, location, class or course title, board name, year of the last exam’s passing, percentage of marks earned, annual family income, and email address.

2. Double-check the information and select the Submit & Proceed tab.

Step 3 – Registration Completion

1. A temporary User ID will be generated after the previously mentioned step is finished.

2. Verify your inbox or email because the password will be sent there.

Step 4 – Student’s Login

1. Login with the User ID and Password on the Student Log-In window

1- Visit the official website for All Scholarship (Pre-Matric, Post Matric, MCM, TSP, SVMCM scholarship)

2- Click on the Renewal Application option, which will open a new window

3- Select the district and click OK on the dialogue box appearing on the screen

4- Login by entering the application ID, date of birth, district, and captcha code

5- Click Login

6- An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number- Enter the sent OPT and submit-

7- There will be two options – Renew Application and Withdraw Application- Click on Renew Application

8- Enter the asked details in the registration form like name, date of birth, email ID, parent’s name, gender, religion, etc.-

9- Click on Submit and Next

10- Enter previous and current academic details
